Namibia Itinerary (Rev A)
28 Dec 2006
12:55 AM

I just finished reading an email from Brenda at HPOM. Here I am ending my day at this time and she is just beginning hers.

But with her email I find that my journey begins....Namibian style. Despite the plans that had been made, they have changed. This should be no surprise to those who understand the concept of time and planning in Namibia. Neither of which exists.

It appears that Brenda will be picking me up at the airport and we will be going to Rehoboth, to help with the opening of Beads of Promise/Seeds of Hope. This is another project that I have offered to help with and one that hope to discuss here in the future. Although very early discussions had me possibly spending some time in Rehoboth, I did not think that would be happening, but alas, it is. I had been wondering how I would be getting images and video for the web site for HPOM in Rehoboth. I guess I now know. It is good. My memory of Rehoboth has distinct images that one can never forget. So it is good that I will be able to purposely capture these images for the web site.

The other change in plans is that I will not be staying at Sharon's house. Instead I will be staying at Nan Parker's house along with Boniface. Nan is and will be in the US while I am there. Boniface is a recent seminary graduate. He is 30 years old and is in Arandis to help Tresford at the Arandis Christian Center. As time goes on, you will be introduced to each of the people that I may talk about. I remember meeting Boniface in my trip in July, though we did not talk at any great lengths. This time it will be different.

There is much to do between now and the time I arrive. I pray that I can begin to focus on what my mission will be and the things I wish to accomplish. I also pray for the challenges and tasks unknown to me that I know I will be faced with.

Note to self: check out July's journal.

What Matters

As you let God's design be worked out in you, you will see its impact in others and for generations.

Sometimes it's not about your ability to do something, but your availability to do it that is more important.
